ข้าขอโอ้อวดกางเขนพระคริสต์
เดือนปีผ่านไปยังคงอยู่
คุณงามศักดิ์สิทธิ์ราศีรอบทิศ
กางเขนเป็นศูนย์กลางเชิดชู
ยามข้าประสบบดคั้นทุกข์ภัย
ความหวังสูญสิ้น เศร้าเสียใจ
กางเขนพระคริสต์ไม่ละทิ้งข้า
ดูเถิด สุขสันต์และปรีดา
ทิวาเป็นสุข ด้วยรัก ด้วยแสง
ฉายส่องสว่างบนทางข้า
กางเขนพระคริสต์รังสีสำแดง
ชีวิตข้าสว่างทุกครา
เป็นพรหรือภัยจะทุกข์หรือสุข
กางเขนให้ข้าบริสุทธิ์
ที่นี่เป็นสุขลึกกว้างไพศาล
ไม่แปรเปลี่ยนชื่นชมนิรันดร์

In the cross of Christ I glory,
Tow’ring o’er the wrecks of time;
All the light of sacred story
Gather round its head sublime.
When the woes of life o’ertake me,
Hopes deceive, and fears annoy,
Never shall the cross forsake me,
Lo! It glows with peace and joy.
When the sun of bliss is beaming
Light and love upon my way,
From the cross the radiance streaming
Adds more luster to the day.
Bane and blessing, pain and pleasure,
By the cross are sanctified;
Peace is there that knows no measure,
Joys that through all time abide.

神聖事蹟光輝環繞，
十架巍然是中心。

當我遭遇患難、折磨，
希望成空，憂懼纏，
基督十架永不棄我，
看哪！喜樂與平安。

照耀在我路程上，
基督十架放射光彩，
使我人生更光亮。

十架使我全成聖，
在此平安深廣莫測，
喜樂永遠不變更。
