บัดนี้ข้าละทิ้งของทุกอย่าง
แบกกางเขนตามพระเยซู
ทนยากจนถูกเหยียดหยามชิงชัง
ใจเดียวเดินทางแคบอดสู
สิ่งที่ข้ารักชอบเมื่อก่อนนั้น
ใจทะนงล้วนหมดสิ้นพลัน
แต่ข้ายังสมบูรณ์เหลือคณา
พระเจ้าพระคริสต์เป็นของข้า
ให้โลกนี้ทิ้งข้าทั้งเย้ยหยัน
พระองค์เคยประสบเช่นกัน
ใจมนุษย์หลอกลวง ข่มเหงข้า
แต่พระองค์สัตย์ซื่อทุกครา
ยามพระพักตร์แย้มยิ้มชอบพระทัย
แม้มิตรเหินห่างศัตรูร้าย
ข้ายังสงบใจ ไม่หวาดหวั่น
เพราะข้าเห็นรอยยิ้มองค์ท่าน
ไปเถิด ลาภยศความสุขโลกา
ความทุกข์ การเยาะเย้ย จงมา
ทุกข์เป็นสุขเมื่ออยู่เพื่อองค์ท่าน
เสียคือได้เมื่อทรงโปรดปราน
เพราะข้าเรียกพระองค์พระบิดา
พินิศพระองค์ด้วยใจข้า
เมฆมืดดำพายุกระหน่ำมา
ช่วยข้าได้ประโยชน์มากกว่า
คนเคี่ยวเข็ญ แม้ให้ข้าทุกข์ยาก
นั่นเพียงเร่งข้าเฝ้าองค์ท่าน
ความทุกข์โลกทับถมข้ายิ่งมาก
ความสุขจากฟ้ายิ่งหอมหวาน
มีทุกข์ใดจะให้ข้าหมองไหม้
เมื่อทรงสำแดงพระพักตร์ท่าน
มีสุขใดจะให้ข้าหลงใหล
หากพระองค์มิอยู่ที่นั่น
มุ่งไป จากพระคุณสู่ราศี
ทูลเป็นปีก เชื่อเป็นโล่ใหญ่
นิรันดร์กาลใกล้ปรากฏทุกที
พระองค์นำข้าถึงสุดปลาย
งานบนโลกไม่ช้าจะต้องหยุด
เป็นแขกเมืองไม่ช้าสิ้นสุด
ขอเป็นสรรเสริญเชื่อได้เห็นแน่
ความหวังกลายเป็นความจริงแท้

God and Christ are still my own!

God of wisdom, love, and might,
Foes may hate, and friends disown me;
Show Thy face, and all is bright.
Man may trouble and distress me,

Life with trials hard may press me,
Christ will bring me sweeter rest.
O tis not in grief to harm me,
While Thy love is left to me;
O twere not in joy to charm me,
Were that joy unmixed with Thee.
Haste thee on from grace to glory,
Armed by faith and winged by prayer;
Gods eternal days before thee,
Gods own hand shall guide thee there.
Soon shall close thy earthly mission,
Swift shall pass thy pilgrim days,
Hope shall change to glad fruition,
Faith to sight, and prayer to praise.

我今撇下一切事物，
背起十架跟耶穌；
甘受藐視、厭棄、貧苦，
一心跟主走窄路。
前我所愛、所慕、所求，
今與雄心同歸盡；
但我又是何等饒優，
神與基督是我分。

讓這世界棄我、嫌我，
恩主也曾被棄嫌；
人面、人心，
欺我、騙我，
惟你永遠不欺騙。
當你向我顯出笑臉，
友雖生疏敵雖險，
但我心安，處之泰然，
因我得見你歡顏。

去罷！今世名利福樂，
來罷！痛苦和嘲譏；
為主活著苦是喜樂，
有主喜悅損是益。
我既稱祂阿爸父親，
我既將心注於你；
怒吼暴風、密集厚雲，
都該效力成我益。

人雖逼我使我苦痛，
不過驅我到你前；
世間苦難壓我越重，
天上平安越甘甜。
有何憂苦能將我襲，
當你榮面向我顯？
有何快樂能將我迷，
若你不在牠裡面？
5
向前！由恩進入榮耀，
信當籐牌，求當翼；
永世日子就要破曉，
主必領我直到底。
地上職事就要停止，
作客旅程就要完，
盼望就要變成事實，
信變眼見，求變讚。
