สิ่งข้าเสาะหาคือพระองค์ผู้เป็นเจ้า
มิใช่ทั้งความสุขหรือโชคลาภว่างเปล่า
ข้าอาจจ่ายราคามาถึงแดนศักดิ์สิทธิ์
มิใช่ตัวของข้า แต่พระคุณทรงฤทธิ์
มุ่งหน้าโดยความเชื่อเพื่อรับพระเจ้าไว้
ติดตามโดยความรัก ไม่พึ่งสิ่งอื่นใด
ขอทรงโปรดช่วยข้าหลุดพ้นตัวตนไป
จนทุกสิ่งของพระเจ้าเติมเต็มภายใน
บางครั้งแม้ทางนี้ช่างน่ากลัวมากมาย
แม้การจ่ายราคาบางครั้งช่างยิ่งใหญ่
แต่พระเจ้าทรงทราบข้าต้องการสิ่งใด
หนทางได้พระเจ้าไม่อาจคดเคี้ยวไป
สิ่งหนึ่งที่ข้ารู้ ทรงไม่พลาดนิรันดร์
สิ่งหนึ่งที่ข้าทำ คือได้พระองค์ท่าน
แต่ละวันผ่านไปข้าต้องการพระเจ้า
สุดท้ายบำเหน็จคือเป็นราศีของเรา
My goal is God Himself, not joy, nor peace,
Nor even blessing, but Himself, my God;
Tis His to lead me there not mine, but His
At any cost, dear Lord, by any road.
So faith bounds forward to its goal in God,
And love can trust her Lord to lead her there;
Upheld by Him, my soul is following hard
Till God hath full fulfilled my deepest prayer.
No matter if the way be sometimes dark,
No matter though the cost be oft-times great,
He knoweth how I best shall reach the mark,
The way that leads to Him must needs be strait.
One thing I know, I cannot say Him nay;
One thing I do, I press towards my Lord;
My God my glory here, from day to day,
And in the glory there my great Reward.

要得神自己，
憑愛而跟隨，
永遠不他依；
願主拯救我脫離我自己，
直到神一切充滿在我裡。

雖然這道路有時真可怕，
雖然這代價常是非常大，
但是神知道何者是我需，
得著神的路永不能彎曲。

一事我所知，
祂永不會錯，
一事我所作，
要將祂得著；
一天過一天神是我所要，
至終的賞賜，
神作我榮耀。
